Visiting Grant County? My favorite place in Grant County is the Gardens of Matter Park. I love gardening and this to me is such a serene place to visit. It’s absolutely beautiful and they offer places to sit and read, work, or have a meeting. Being that my background is in Early Childhood Education, I have had the opportunity to take my summer camp kids there every summer to help plant a vegetable garden and learn all about gardening. They are so good with teaching the children and at the end of the summer they have a feast on the vegetables they were able to harvest. I also love the setting they have for weddings and events. Not to mention, I have seen groups provide yoga and meditation there in the grassy part of the garden.
