What we’re about in East Central Indiana

Have you ever heard the phrase “stronger together?” That’s East Central Indiana (ECI) – and that’s our mission.

Forge Your Path is a 9 county coalition in ECI. We united when we realized each county had a goal to attract talent and establish the region as a destination and a place where people want to live, work, and play…and that we would be more likely to achieve this goal by working together. We want to build pride and empowerment among ECI residents, attract talented people to our area, and diversify our population.

We want visitors to enjoy it here and keep coming back when they see everything ECI has to offer: plenty of amenities, great value for families, a high quality of life, and growth and vision within our communities. East Central Indiana is made up of the following communities: Blackford County, Delaware County, Fayette County, Grant County, Henry County, Jay County, Randolph County, Rush County, and Wayne County.

The well-traveled path isn’t for everyone. Sure, it can be the safer route. Perhaps it’s the most direct – but not everyone thrives in a cookie-cutter life. Those people need to forge their own paths. That’s why we’re here.

East Central Indiana is the place where you can design the life YOU want to live. ECI is the place where you matter. You can make a difference here. Smaller communities mean a chance to be a part of something. It means there’s time and opportunity to chase your dreams. You can be who you want to be here and everyone is welcome. So get involved.
